I’m Seth Shoultes, and I run Smart Website Solutions here in Southern Utah. I have been building websites and software for more than 25 years. I would like to build yours, or help you get more from the one you have.

How I got here

I started building websites in 2001. In 2009 I released my first WordPress plugin, and that grew into Event Espresso, which I co-founded. It is a WordPress plugin for event registration and ticketing: businesses use it to sell tickets, take bookings and manage attendees from their own website.

The road wasn’t straight. I’m an Air Force veteran, and getting to a software company took a lot of stubbornness. If you want the long version, I wrote it all down in my autobiography. These days I’m a husband and the father of two, and I try to keep the work in balance with the life.

What I do for you

I build websites that look good and help a business grow, without making them hard to use. Through Smart Website Solutions I help with:

Custom websites, mostly on WordPress, plus WooCommerce, Shopify, Squarespace and Wix.
Online stores and event registration.
Search and marketing for local businesses.
Updates, maintenance and moving sites to new hosting.
Speeding up databases and checking security.

If a job needs more hands than mine, I work with a network of designers and developers I trust and can pair you with the right one.
